serious swinging

We had a beautiful spring day today, so nice that Alden wanted to wear mommy's sunglasses so the sun wouldn't hurt his eyes, so we decided to go outside and swing—one of Alden's favorite activities. He never seems overly excited about it, he just sits content, swinging for 30–45 minutes at a time. It's hard to tell if he wants out or not until you start to pick him up... if he isn't done, he'll start swinging his legs and hold on really tight to the ropes.

he's walking!!

for the past few months Alden has chosen crawling and his mommy's hip as his primary mode of transportation. It all stopped last week when he finally decided to get serious about walking. He's been taking steps for a few months but seemed to have the "eh, what's the point?" attitude when it came to walking. We think he's just now realized how efficient it is to be up on two feet.
