broken leg

Here's a picture of Alden's cast. We haven't signed it yet, but I think we'll draw him some pictures of trucks and dogs... his two favorite things. Maybe we'll even have some of his little friends scribble a little on it since they are too young to sign it.

Yesterday his friend Teresa (age 2) kept pointing to the cast and saying, "this one's broken," and then she'd point to the other leg and say, "but this one's OKAY!"

Since Alden now has a lot of time to sit in one spot, he's been working on his lacing skills. He says "Poe" (instead of "Poke") everytime he tries to get the lace through the hole. I guess this is going to be a good opportunity for him to develop his fine motor skills.
